David J. Fish
Mr. Fish is an aggressive lawyer who is devoted to obtaining the best results for his clients. He has litigated numerous multi-million dollar disputes throughout the United States. Mr. Fish has represented a broad array of clients including large publicly traded companies, governmental bodies, privately held companies, small corporations, and individuals.
Mr. Fish was recognized as an Illinois “Rising Star” by Law and Politics Magazine during 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and has received a 5.0 out of 5.0 “preeminent” ranking from Martindale Hubbell.
He has, on several occasions, lectured at educational seminars for lawyers and other professionals. He has moderated a continuing legal education panel of federal magistrates and judges on the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, he has presented before the Illinois State Bar Association on electronic discovery rules, and he testified before the United States Judicial Conference in Dallas, Texas regarding the electronic discovery issues. Mr. Fish has also held many leadership positions in bar associations.
Mr. Fish graduated second in his law school class from Northern Illinois University College of Law in DeKalb, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University (Major: Political Science, Minor: Philosophy). Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Fish was employed as an associate or summer associate by larger law firms. (Including, Jenner & Block in Chicago, Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins in Chicago and The Collins Law Firm, P.C. in Naperville). The Fish Law Firm is located in Naperville, Illinois, DuPage County.
David lives in Naperville with his wife, three children, and the family dog Tucky (short for Kentucky, which is where Tucky was found as an abandoned stray puppy). He is active in the community and has served as a volunteer coach for the Naperville Youth Soccer League.

Shannon Barnaby
Shannon Barnaby graduated fifth in her class from Northern Illinois University College of Law in DeKalb, Illinois. She was also awarded an Outstanding Women Student Award in 2011 from Northern Illinois University. Before joining the Fish Law Firm, Ms. Barnaby was the 2010-2011 External Publications Editor of the Northern Illinois University Law Review, a Law Clerk at The Collins Law Firm in Naperville, IL, and a Graduate Assistant/Law Clerk at Students’ Legal Assistance at Northern Illinois University. Ms. Barnaby practices in the area of business and commercial litigation.
