134 Ambulance Workers To Share in $225,000 Overtime Settlement (Peoria, Illinois)

Plaintiffs in Buckley, et al. v. Stark County Ambulance Services, Inc., et al. (Case No. 25-cv-01141, U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois) have obtained final approval of a proposed $225,000 class and collective action settlement resolving alleged overtime wage claims. The settlement would cover approximately 134 current and former employees. The lawsuit alleged that these 134 workers would work over 40 hours in a week and were not paid proper overtime wages. The settlement was approved by the United States District Court in Peoria on January 14, 2026. Defendants deny all liability and contend they acted lawfully.
