Laura is a third-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. At Loyola, Laura is a Philip H. Corboy Fellow, meaning that she is part of a group of ten students that are chosen to compete throughout the year in mock trial competitions all over the nation. During the academic year, the team spends hundreds of hours working with coaches preparing for competitions. Public defenders, state's attorneys, U.S. attorneys and civil trial lawyers donate their time, expertise, and experience to providing Loyola's top advocacy students with the best one-on-one training available. Before becoming a Corboy Fellow, Laura was a member of Loyola’s Civil Mock Trial Team and Criminal Mock Trial Team. Laura is also a member of the Labor & Employment Society and the Women’s Law Society.
Laura graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas where she majored in Political Science and minored in English and French. She was also a member of the University of Arkansas Undergraduate Mock Trial Team, where she served as team captain and vice president.
