We have reached a class action settlement with Standard Market. This settlement is for employees who worked in the Westmont, Illinois and Naperville, Illinois locations and who meet the conditions in the settlement agreement.
Subject to court approval, the Settlement obligates Standard Market to allow a Judgment to be entered against it for the total amount of $2,086,000 (“Judgment Amount”). Standard Market is assigning its rights under an insurance policy to the Class and Class Counsel will seek to recover the Judgment Amount by taking over the litigation in a related Declaratory Judgment Action. In addition, Standard Market has agreed to pay $200,000 towards the Judgment Amount to create a Settlement Fund (“Defendant Settlement Fund”).
